The traditional and cozy restaurant has been run since last year with a lot of passion by a young, committed landlady who welcomes her guests with warmth and always strives to make every visit a special experience. The quality of the food is excellent – everything is fresh, tasty and prepared with a lot of love.Especially at a time when many restaurants in Waldems had to close, the "Schinderhannes" is a pleasant and inspiring exception. It's just great to see how young people have the courage to take on such a project and bring fresh ideas to life in the place.I hope that many guests will support this charming restaurant so that the opening times will be expanded in the future and the "Schinderhannes" will also be a great place to go for hikers and day trippers at lunchtime.

Visited several times and always impressed. Both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owners are worth 5 stars. Price and performance are in a suitable relationship. The wood-burning stove and the cozy ambience invite you to linger longer. We'd love to come back.

I'm not from the area, but went there for dinner on my bachelor party. The food was very tasty and the landlady was extremely friendly. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely go there again.

Yummy! Adam and Lena have created something very special here. Very tasty food in a cozy, rustic atmosphere. In addition to the classic rump steak and Viennese schnitzel (real veal), there are also special dishes such as smoked salmon roulade or chicken liver pate. We always enjoy going to Schinderhannes. The small but fine menu with regional specialties offers something for everyone. The hostess and her team are very warm and have a good feel for their guests. The ambience with a cozy wood-burning stove is unbeatable anyway. In short: you feel completely comfortable, highly recommended!
